THE ANTIQUES IMPROV ROADSHOW

TV CLASSIC HITS THE STAGE WHERE ONE MAN'S JUNK IS ANOTHER MAN'S PLEASURE

Vancouver, BC. The Antiques Improv Roadshow rolls to town for an evening of fun, intrigue and creativity. June 22, 23 and 28-30 at the Vancouver Little Theatre, enjoy creative storytelling inspired by objects the audience bring to the show as !nstant Theatre Company presents the Canadian premiere of a unique long form improv show based on TV's Antiques Roadshow.

The improvised stage adaptation of the popular TV show (mentioned even on TV's Frasier) sees expert improvisers - amateur appraisers - create stories from items brought in by the audience. While that moldy tub of mayo sitting in the fridge for the last decade will not qualify for the real Antiques Roadshow, it may be just what the Antiques Improv Roadshow is looking for.It probably won't yield a fortune, but it will definitely roll out some laughs.

The much anticipated "Antiques Improv Roadshow" takes the stage as the grand finale in a successful season of new improvised plays including the Fringe hit "Premiere", and the spooky "Campfire." Developed by the world-renowned improvisational theatre company, "Brody Theatre" of Portland, Oregon, the improvised theatre version of the Antiques Roadshow will again be a Vancouver first.

With the support of the many antique stores that line Main Street, this event also brings together the two most prominent groups in the local community.

Bring your valued ancient treasures (or just junk you can't give away) and leave with a priceless memory.
